As someone who grew up on Vietnamese food, I wanted to bring concept noodle house The Flying Tiger to life as a trendy, delicious haven for Angelenos who are as in love with pho as I am. By mixing modern design elements with traditional imagery, The Flying Tiger showcases a brand identity that is uniquely Vietnamese American.

The bright colors and tiger logo design were derived from a historical woodblock painting from the Hang Trong and Hang Non streets of Old Hanoi. (Read more about that painting here!) Motifs of a lotus flower, Vietnam’s national flower, can also be found throughout the restaurant.
